Our Story

House Rules – The Establishment 1898

1. Introduction
1898 LLC, also known as The Establishment or The Club, is a public members’ club located at 201 South Baylen Street, Pensacola, Florida 32502. The Club is open Tuesday–Thursday, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM; Friday, 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM; Saturday, 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Last entry and final orders are accepted 30 minutes prior to closing.

2. Dress Code
A business-casual dress code is required. Prohibited items include exercise or beachwear, flip-flops, and fashion jeans with holes or excessive distress (determined at entry). Jackets are encouraged with collarless shirts. Men shall not wear hats indoors. Special events may have alternate dress codes, with advance notice provided.

3. Membership Committee & Membership
The Membership Committee (“The Committee”) reviews all applications and holds absolute authority over membership matters, with no appeal process. Membership is by invitation or inquiry and must be submitted in writing or via email. A proposer who is an existing member is preferred but not required. Prospective members meet with the General Manager, tour the Club, and review the rules. Membership is confirmed upon Committee approval and payment. A complimentary secondary card is provided for a spouse. Members may host unlimited guests, with advance notice for groups over eight. Members are responsible for all guest charges. Membership cancellation requires 30 days written notice.

4. Fees & Member Contact Details
Annual membership is $2,400, billed in twelve installments of $200. A $50 monthly “use-or-lose” credit applies. Purchases of beverages, food, and cigars are charged to the card on file, with invoices emailed. Members must update contact details promptly; all personal information is safeguarded.

5. Conduct, Admission & Smoking
Guests must be accompanied by a member at all times. Entry may be refused at management discretion. Members are responsible for their guests’ conduct. Smoking and vaping are prohibited indoors; the courtyard is the designated area. Members and guests must respect Club property, with any damage charged to the member. Zero tolerance is enforced for illegal drugs. Mobile phones and laptops may be restricted after 6 PM. Photography is for personal use only.

6. Expulsion, Lost Property & Complaints
The General Manager may suspend or revoke membership for conduct deemed injurious. Lost items are held for 28–45 days; the Club is not responsible for personal property. All incidents or complaints must be reported to management immediately. Aggressive or abusive behavior toward staff, members, or guests will result in immediate expulsion.

7. Alteration & Binding Effect
The Committee may modify these rules at any time, with members notified within 14 days. All members are bound by these rules.
